That would me.....the daughter! It was a great time fishing with the folks! When we parted ways my firend and I went over to the East Carson and caught and released at least 20 big ones!

Most excellent Auralee. Those are very nice trout. You drove a lot of miles to get them. Nice to know there are some fish in the Carson.

Drove up 108 and fished the Stanislaus at our favorite holes. We caught and released some and went over the hill to the Walker. We sure didn't find the hole where the Captain and friend were fishing so we headed for the Carson.

First stop was the Crystal Springs Bridge where we caught and released many planters.

We then moved on to the White Bridge. Fishing was very good and there were some good sized fish. Caught and released about 10. We caught the ones shown in the photos and these are the only three fish we have kept this year.

It was a team effort on the big one--my daughter and her friend with the net in the river. Looking forward to getting back in a couple of weeks.
