Killer job. Same thing happening at Melones. Trolling for trout getting quality fish if they are targeted.
    Cheers

    Camanche 9/15/12 Unbelieveable Day!!!

Took a break from the dying kokanee... So i gave Aaron a text last night... Hardly, NO Lake Lice... Good, I will see you in the morning. After a chat with Aaron, i set out to find those Rainbows... Dropped down two lines, one at 30' and the other at 40'... Started at the South Corner of the Dam and heading North... Just as i get almost to the Corner, Both Rods at the same time... Nice Double!!! Released one and kept the other. Just as i turn around, same thing... Another double... It was just non-stop action here... So over the next few hours i released all but the five a brought home. Had over 20+ fish to the boat... All were released and swam away!!! I did finish a little deeper... at 45'. Not one other troller, all day. Only about 5 lake lice all day... Was actually pretty nice... I fished til 2:30. Went to the store and had my picture taking their. They said that was the first limit of trout they have seen all summer. Just no one is fishing for them... A few of them were pretty covered in Copods. I just kept the clean ones... The biggest weighed 3.8 and the five fish weighed 10.7 Not bad, 2 pound average...

    Here is the Good Stuff:

    Lures: Excel Spoons
    Colors: Firetiger / Lady Bug
    Depths: 30' to 45'
    Speed: 2.0 to 2.2 GPS
    Scent: Kokanee Feast (Smelly Jelly)
Area: Dam (Bouy Line) North Corner (Best)
Set Backs: 50' on Deep 75' on Shallow

Here are Some Photo's to Enjoy...
