    Fishing Notes:
  • Trout Rainbows move through the lake in open water. Some top water action early and late. Browns are best late afternoon - early evenings in coves or creek inlets late spring to mid-fall.
  • Bass Both largemouth and smallmouth. Largemouth best in backs of coves and on shallow points mornings and late afternoons from late spring to fall. Smallmouth are good on rocky points and inlets with rock and rubble.
  • Bluegill and Redear Sunfish Good in summer, mid day 'til dark.
  • Catfish Bait fishing is from shore using nightcrawlers or small minnows throughout late spring, summer or early fall.
  • Kokanee Salmon Trolling with downriggers and small lures or jigs behind dodgers or flashers is the best method. Early spring, fish shallow upstream, fishing deeper through summer and farther down the lake until late summer in deeper water near the dam.
