Troll shallow in circles around southwest portion of lake for planted rainbows, east of ramp.
Troll and cast bait or lures along riverbed from dam to inlet, including points and large boulders.
Troll deep bays and cast points and inlets early morning and evening with plugs and spoons.
Drift bait or cast with slow retrieve using Colorado spinners and worms along south shoreline shallows and boulders.
5-6 miles, along a winding, steep road to launch ramp of Beardsly Reservoir. Potential for BIG browns, some rainbows.
Herring Creek, (close by tributary to South Fork of the Stanislaus River) excellent potential for adult-children trout fishing in small stream. Use light 6-7' fly or spin rod, 2-4 pound test leader and single egg. Walk along and fish small pools and eddies.
