Fishing Notes:
• Cutthroat Trout Season is from October 1 through June 30. Trolling is productive for anglers using Tor-P-Dos, Fish Holograms, Apex and other lures. Bank fishing is great throughout the lake with "The nets" near Crosby Lodge one of the most popular areas. Fly fishermen find success using large Woolly Buggers and streamer patterns.
• Lahontan Cutthroat Fishing is productive for anglers tossing Woolly Buggers and other flies behind plastic bubbles or still fishing with bait after ice out in spring or fall.
• Sacramento Perch provide a sleeper fishery. Use small jigs around springs, weeds and rocks.
