This is 3.5 yr. old Cristina Rossi and it was her first time fishing. The
rainbow weighed 1.59 lbs. and was caught at New Melones Lake on 1-16-05.

Mike and Curt Garrett caught these pair of diamond backs fishen at the ships. only an inch difference in length but 30#s in weight. one was 5'6 &one was 5'7 weighing in at 58#s and 78#s.

I took my 6 year old son Brandon striper fishing in the Delta with me for the first time. Check out these two beauties that he caught while trolling Rebels. He put my buddy and I to shame. Just a pic of some friends and I from Eagle Lake on Thanksgiving W-end 2004. We had about 10 inches of new snow on the ground, and was hoping for a good day of fishing. All said and done we all caught our limits, but released some smaller ones. all were caught with powerbait.

stripers. Marc Lee (hat) & Corey Fujita were spooning the
Sacramento Deep Water Cannel on December 26th 2004,
working a school of bait catching 20 stripers up to 8
lbs.

Hey Fish Sniffer: How's this for beginners luck. This was our first time down the American with Mike Peckham's new Willie Drifter, on new years day. This stud hit a cop car (black and white) hot shot just above the riffle at the Rossmoor street pullout while I was waiting for Mike to bring the trailer down from the sailors bar put in. Mike thought I was B.S.ing him about the nice wild buck I released while he was gone, maybe he'll believe me now!! Thanks to fellow guide John Bianchini for the photo. tight lines

Deb, my Friend Olin Souders and I were trolling Decker Island in the delta and he hooked into this 6 lb'er in 8ft of water. We learned this technique from Mark Wilson last month. He used a bomber rainbow trout with powerpro #30 on a Lamiglas rod and Cabalas depthmaster reel.
