Hi!
My uncle convinced me to send in this picture of the largest rainbow trout, by far, I've ever caught. I hooked and landed this monster at Lewiston Lake in Shasta county and it weighed 12.2lbs and measured 29 inches long. Believe it or not it fell for powerbait and I was using 6lb test line with about a 3ft leader of 4lb test. What a fish!
Thank you! Greg Someya

Greg Someya and his largest rainbow yet!

Chuck
Here is a picture of a nice steelhead that I caught and released last winter on the Chetco River in Oregon. Quite a battle as I was rowing my driftboat at the time it was hooked and had to fight the fish, while rowing to the shore to land him. My name is Chuck. Say hi to Paul for me!
Lisa Kerr
Lisa Kerr of San Francisco caught this oinker on the Hog Heaven on August 26 along the Marin Coast for a private charter for cable TV network TechTV. Deckhand Alex helps Lisa hold the jackpot winner. Amazingly, this trophy was the first fish ever caught for Lisa.
Rudy Turiello
Dear Fish Sniffer: I've been waiting along time to be able to submit something worthy for all to see. My 18 lb Mackinaw was caught on Odell Lake in Central Oregon a couple of weeks ago. My mom Nancy caught a 25lb Macki a couple of weeks before. They were both caught with a Luhr-Jenson QUICKFISH smothered in crawfish jelly (down rigger trolling). Oregon really is a hidden gem of fantastic fishing and even more beautiful sights.
Thank you, Rudy Turiello, Redwood City, CA

Marty Freitas
I caught this 25lb King Salmon on 9/17 below the Watt Ave bridge drifting a bead in the riffle. The impressive part is that I was using a Mitchell 300 and my reel handle broke. It took about 35 minutes to get her in cranking my reel by hand. I am a faithful subscriber. Marty Freitas, Sacramento
John Copan
Here's a photo of a nice 21 pound salmon I caught while fishing with Albert Kutzkey (Albert Kutzkey Guide Service) on the Upper Sacramento River (Old Mouth Hole) on September 12, 2001. Enjoyed fishing with Albert and I bet Albert will never forget our campsite at the River Bar (golfing, hot tub . . .)!

Anthony Young
I took my 12 year old son, Anthony Young to Isleton on 9/15/01 and we were trolling for salmon that day. We didn't hook up on any salmon, but we did manage to land three catfish and a few bass while trolling with wiggle warts. The largest catfish weighed over 13 pounds and put up a scrapping fight for Anthony. We will be back for more!
Thank's, Jeff Young, San Jose

Today me and a friend were fishing out of bodega bay and fishing near ten mile beach and the towers and I caught this 30.2 lb salmon on 9/16/01. We lost three other big fish at the boat and a few others as well. We did catch our limits by noon. And had a great fishing day considering the sea was very choppie.
Thanks Richard Huhn
