Hi Deborah, This is a picture of one of the three Hell Hole Mackinaws I've caught this year in three trips. I know it's not a giant but a fun fish just the same. Caught this one at 90' on a J-plug dipped in my secret sauce. As I said before it's not really a secret but I like saying that, It drives my fish buddies crazy.

Travis Schoenthaler

Hi my name is Travis Schoenthaler. I'm 15 years old and read Fish Sniffer all the time. While I went out for a short boat ride I left a minnow floating in the Pittsburgh marina. When I came back I found this 7.5 pound large mouth bass attached to my fishing pole. Hoping to see my picture in your paper soon! Your fishing friend, Travis
Joe Lazzari
Joe Lazzari caught this nice fish in the Feather River on June 29/03 using a spinner Blue fox while fishing with Steelie Dan's Fishing Guide Service.

Will Boogey
This 22lbs. striper was caught in the Montezuma Slough June,11 2003. I thought it was a sturgeon! My partner, AL CATCH "EM, helped me pull it up. I caught it on a pier. WILL BOOGEY!

Tina Wooley's husband and kids
Just wanted to whine and brag at the same time. My husband caught this monster in Willow Creek Alaska. Not knowing that there was a "Derby" going on. This 58 pounder would of taken 1st place along with a big jackpot! Oh well, the kids were happy (and scared) to see daddy pull in this huge fish!!

Michael Hartman
Hey Fishsniffer.com, Caught near Alameda Rockwall 6/8/03 right at low tide, drifting anchovie. Weight: 12 lb. Michael Hartman

I was in Cabo for my honeymoon and we went fishing on July the second. I got the first striped marlin of my life! It weighed in at 90 lbs. Wow what a fish it jumped 3 or 4 times and my arm was sore for 2 days. Cabo is a great place, the people are nice, the food was great and the beer is cheap. Jay

Steve Peterson
A nice Trinity river springer caught by Steve Peterson of Reno Nevada. It was caught on 7 8 03 with a kwick fish in the Douglas City area fishing with Tim King of Kings Guide Service.

Marvin Diaz
hi Deborah, Me and my friends went to Lake Tahoe June 14, 2003, and there we caught these mackinaws. Its a good start for me to experience catching those fish with a help of my friends Wayne and Donn. Rgds, Marvin Diaz

Craig Smith's son
Over the last 4th of July weekend my son landed the biggest trout of his young fishing career. We were fishing near the Hat Creek powerhouse #1 and catching nice Brooks 9-14" range then my son became real quiet when he hooked this one, I could see the rippling in the water and knew it was pretty good size. He landed the fish in no time and one of the other fishermen there had a digital scale. The Brook weighed in at 5.8# and 21-1/2" in length. This made the whole 4 day camping trip a fishing trip to remember. Craig E. Smith
Nicholas Yee
My son Nicholas (10 years old) first frog fish. This bass weighted 4.8#, caught June 29 on the Delta, using a white Snag-proof frog on 30# power-pro line. Thanks Kevin Yee

Derby winners
Hi, Some friends and I held a derby at Spaulding on May 31. Here's a picture of the three winning fish. 4#4oz brown was the big fish.
