Attached is a digital picture from the weekend of Sept. 9th, 2000 and is a picture of Ed Wellington, Jim Kennedy and Mike Greeson from Yountville holding some real NICE Salmon ranging from 20lbs to 30lbs. We caught these at Duxbury Reef and had limited in just 3 hours. The water was flat, the weather was nice and the fishing was GREAT... what more could we ask for! Thanks, Ed Wellington

Here's a 15lb King Salmon I caught on the lower Klamath River (Blakes Riffle
to be exact) using a silver mepps spinner. I was fishing in early October
with my good friend Tommy Chew, owner of Little Ray's Tackle Box in Klamath.
This year was one of the best in recent memory for salmon on the Klamath.
October was especially hot with fresh runs of kings and silvers coming up
the river every few days. Can't wait to go back next year. I recommend
staying at the Redwood Rest Resort, one of the prettiest camp sites around.

Hi My name is Dave Johnson. I caught this 30 pound striper down in
franks track, drifting a mud sucker. My wife had her salmon picture posted once on your website, I need to keep up with her. Thank you, Dave Johnson

I am sending this picture of a bright Sacramento River Salmon
caught just below the confluence of the American river on November 12th. The
gentleman pictured is Karey Westerman, a devoted fishing buddy for many
years. The day we caught this 28 pounder and two others was one of
the more memorable days spent on the water together. We both are long time
fishsniffer readers and enjoy the pictures and information shared in your
issues. If you can fit this in, it would top off a
perfect day for two diehard fishing enthusiasts. Thanks, Dave Scott

This big boy was caught at night near the, you didn't think I would tell you
the spot did you. I will say is it was on the delta out of Antooch. My 11
year old son Russell took the picture and also did some time with the 2 hour
battle it took to land this nice fish. We also landed two others around 80
pounds that night. I would also like to thank my buddy MR B. Without his
help I would never of landed this fish or been able to get a picture. The
fish was caught on 30lb test line, I put that line to the limit. Just
thought your readers might want to see what can happen when you put in the
time and get a little lucky.

We went on a cruise ship to Mexico and had 3 port stops, first at
Puerto Vallarta. We had made earlier arrangements with Capt. Kurt Hjort who took us 30-40 miles out of the bay & really worked for our fish. We ended up with 3 Dorado, some small tuna & a 100lb sailfish (lost another that jumped across the line & spit the hook). Great day!! Returned back with all the bragging rights for the day. Great mag. Keep it up!! Roger Lindsey
