The Fish Sniffer - Bullards Bar Bass And Koke Action Picking Up
Bullards Bar Bass And Koke Action Picking Up

Written By: Garry Erck, June 9, 2014
Species: Bass Kokanee Trout
Location: Bullards Bar Reservoir, Englebright Reservoir,

Anglers heading to Bullards Bar will see a solid bass bite and a koke bite that is producing limits.

“Bass anglers are doing well as expected,” said Leven at Emerald Cove Marina. “We had an angler pull out an 8 ½ pound spotted bass last week. This lake is a known producer for nice spotted bass and it continues to do so. “

“Kokanee anglers are finding pretty easy limits right now – on a surprising combo – a dodger paired with Krocodile; it’s not a common combo, but it’s working from 10-40 feet deep from the dam to the mooring area near the houseboats.”

“Trollers are finding pretty decent trout action upriver,” reported Lisa Rogers at Skipper’s Cove Marina. “The south fork area continues to hold and produce nice hold-over action for trollers pulling flasher/crawler combos in the top ten feet.”

Bullards Bar is at 67% capacity, while Englebright stands at 90% of capacity.
