Launched out of B&W at 4pm and fished down towards the San Joaquin. Threw everything from jerkbait, crank baits, and spinners for a shaker striper for 2 hrs. Sun going down we slowed down on our way back to the launch. Switched to spinning gear and ye old faithful senko (greens and blacks) paired w 1/8oz bullet weight rigged Texas style. Not 5 min into it, the first fish came in at 4lbs. 30min before sunset and after we landed 9 fish all from 1.5-5lbs. Got about just as many bites and missed hooksets. It's only gonna get better from now.... Hopefully.
Water temp 55-56.
Water clarity from 6inch to 3ft.
Fish slow. Dead stick with a little wiggle.
All fish came from rock walls with some tully 2ft to 10ft.
