Englebright Reservoir continues to provide what most lakes don’t – near capacity for water.
Overall action at the lake has slowed, but anglers targeting the marina area continue to shine as another eight pound holdover was pulled out of the lake last week.
Lisa Rogers at Skipper’s Cove Resort reported most anglers are working the banks or off anchored boats with PowerBait. Trollers have not reported much success this past week.
Leven at Emerald Cove Marina reported access at Dark Day seems to be resolved, but action is tough at Bullards Bar.
“Dark Day ramp is seeing clearing a couple times a week by a back-hoe, so launching has improved – but action at the lake is slow,” he noted. “Anglers I have talked to are finding some bass action near Dark Day on jigs and drop shot tactics. If anglers are looking for trout, I would recommend a trolled Wedding Ring with flashers up the North Fork.”
Bullards Bar is at 41% capacity, while Englebright stands at 95% of capacity.
