Find Solid Bass And Trout Action Amidst Solitude
Summer is over for all intents and purposes and anglers will find lakes to themselves – both Bullards Bar and Englebright are offering up action and anglers can take advantage of the early Fall solitude.
“Few anglers are showing at Bullards Bar,” according to Emerald Cove Marina. “Bass should offer up the best action as fall nears – anglers will have to move to tactics better suited for that time of year. Bass seem to be keying on bluegill fry and other small bait. Action is scattered as depths vary quite a bit from rather shallow to over fifty feet deep. Launch conditions remain solid.”
“Trout limits are coming for anglers putting in their time at Englebright,” stated Mike Torres at Skippers Cove Marina. “Early morning is the better time, but fish are biting throughout the day. Nightcrawlers and Powerbait are both producing right now. I pulled in a personal best 4-½ pound, twenty inch trout in the Keystone Cove area. Bass are showing at the docks.”
Bullards Bar is at 59% capacity, while Englebright stands at 96% of capacity.Back To Reports
