Species: Landlocked Salmon, Trout,
Location: Folsom Lake,
Met up with a couple buddies Bill and Randy. We were at brown's way too early. O dark thirty. We bs'ed for a few and got on the water @ 0645. Headed up the fork and it was windy and chilly. We picked up first 17" king @ 0745. Bite went soft till' about 1100 and all hell broke loose! Picked up 4 king's to 3#-4oz 21" in a 15 minute period. It was awesome! After a bit we decided to head over to the dam area. Within 10 min we managed 2 more nice king's by the ss relief. Then finally picked up a nice full tail bow on the top line. Depths were 30-44', silver/blue speed's, chartruce gvf dodger/spinner, and wiggle hoochie did the damage on the king's and rainbow sidekick/crawler took down the bow. Its always nice when the lake you love to hate gives you some love! Tight lines!
