Frenchmans Reservoir Still Puttin Out The Luv!
Hit my favorite honeyhole one more time this morning. Started out breezy and a little hazy. I've come to be a real believer in the chop on the water really improving the effectiveness of what Water temp at 66ºF which is down 2º from last monday. Once again the bows were cooperative to the tune of 8 with numerous takes and 4 or 5 LDRs. The Olive Pheasant Tail continued to be the fly of choice with 7 while the Black PT accounted for only 1. The wind finally picked up to near gale force around 1130 ending what was shaping up to be a double digit day!! I didn't see a single boat all morning and only one other fisherman, at the dam.
Yet another fine day on the shore
