Gearing up for Sturgeon and Striper fishing

The Sacramento River Salmon fishing season closed Dec.16th with muddy water and allot of debris in the water I personally didn’t fish, I felt the water was to muddy. I am gearing up for Sturgeon fishing and Striper fishing in a few months on the Lower Sacramento River around Colusa. The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing and the occasional Steelhead fishing can be good right now between storms when the river clears up for a couple days drifting Glow Bugs behind the Salmon that are spawning.

Tha picture is of George, John and Brain with 3 of the 7 King Salmon they hooked fishing the Sacramento River in Oct. with Al Brown's Guide Service
