(Coyote) Angling pressure continues to diminish in response to cold weather, while diehards continue to chase bass in the Silicon Valley.

"Slow over all," was the news from Coyote Bait and Tackle, with Jared Dominici suggesting finese plastics at all the local area lakes.  "Boating is still open at Calero, with guys working drop shots, jigs, and spoons off the main body points."

"Anderson is ok for numbers with guys picking up three or four fish on robo and flick shake worms rigged on a drop shot or darter head,” he tipped.

"Uvas has a good reaction bite on Rat-L-Traps, and out of all of the lakes, it has risen the most over the last couple of weeks,” Dominici added.

Reports on the other local lakes were best described by Dominici as "nonexistent."
