Location: Del Valle Reservoir,

Fishing: is open year round for rainbow trout, king salmon, kokanee salmon, striped bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, catfish and white sturgeon. The recreation area is open daily from sunrise to sunset. An East Bay Regional Fishing Permit, $4 per day, and California fishing license are required.

 

Stores: the Rocky Mountain Recreation Company operates two stores that provide grocery items, ice, hot and cold drinks and snacks, toys, swimming apparel, camping goods, and firewood.  

 

Marina and launch ramp: Fishing licenses and the East Bay Regional fishing permits are available, along with bait and tackle and a boat rental fleet of motorboats, patio boats, pedal boats, canoes, and row boats.     

 

Boating Regulations: Any size boat may be launched at the six-lane paved boat ramp, but personal watercraft are not allowed. If you are launching your own boat, be prepared for a mandatory boat inspection to stop the spread of destructive Quagga and Zebra mussels. The inspection requires an $8.00 fee, in addition to the park entry fee of $6.00 per vehicle. The boat launching fee is $5.00 for a trailered boat and $3.00 for a car-top craft.
