Jim Pickens of the Fishermen’s Friend reported that trout trolling has picked up using spoons and Rapalas from 25’ down to 40’ in the main lake from the dam to big hat.
The south shore pond produced some large rainbows to 10 lbs last week. Mice Tails, Power Baits and casting spoons working from shore.
“Black bass fishing is good with Senkos, rip baits and crank baits, but the spawn is over and their headed back to deeper water so adjust accordingly,” said Pickens.
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 195.45 ft. above sea level. Water temperature at the launch ramps is approximately 60 degrees and the lake is 41% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 cfs. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 326 cfs.
