(Oyster Point) Angling pressure remains light, with the victory of the San Francisco Giants over the Detroit Tigers in the World Series dominating the attention of many. However, sharks, rays and perch continue to be a good bet for pier anglers.

"Nothing," was the word on the water, according to John Akina of Oyster Point Bait and Tackle, with a majority of the city focused on the San Francisco Giants ."There's a lot of sharks and rays for the few guys going out," he said.

Squid and anchovies are Akina's recommendations for bait. "There's one guy out for perch today," Akina added. Blood worms and shrimp were Akina's recommendations for bait.
