Striped bass fishing continues to be very good on the Sacramento River in the Tisdale area.

“We’ve caught limits of stripers for the past 20 trips,” said Scott Feist of Feisty Fish Guide Service. “We’re not seeing huge schools of bass, but were seeing pod of fish and are doing well on live jumbo minnows below Tisdale.”

“A fly fishing trip that I made yielded fish to 8 pounds,” said Feist. “The bite wasn’t on fire, but we managed to catch and release limits of stripers.”

“I was on the Sacramento River with two clients, Tom Rodeller and Tad Anthenien,” reported Rob Reimers of Rustic Rob’s Guide Service. ‘They did catch their limits even if they didn’t keep them. We lost two fish on a double hookup and we caught two catfish trolling minnows. There are still fish out there; if you stay with it, you’ll get your limit.”
