    Re: Back to Camanche 4-15-18

Looks like the last few plants of trout are all on the small side and the fishing has slowed down a lot from a few weeks ago Don't know if its the water coming in from the last big rain plus the full moon last week or so did not help. But you spent some time on the water and that is always good.

    Back to Camanche 4-15-18

Fished Camanche again today with my buddy Tim Johnson. Launched at 7 am and headed for Hat island. Trolled the area including the Dam and spillway till 11 am. Found a tough bite but landed 2 fish 17 and 16 inches. We also lost 2 more. We then ran to the Narrows to finish our day. We ended up landing 3 more fish..think they where triplets. haha.. 15 ..15 and another 15 inches. We ended our day at 1:50 pm because the lake lice where about to drive us insane. Lots of Grass all over the lake. Had to check lines often. Vis was 13ft, temp started out at 60.7*, Speedy shiners all day. No colors where consistent. 2.7 mph was the speed. Best depths was 22 ft till the lice got bad then we found them at 32 ft.
