Trout, Bass and Salmon fishing improving
Rob Hower of Redding gave us this report: Shasta Lake is sitting about 18’ below the crest and morning surface temperatures are about 53°. The lakes projected level is about 15’ to crest is what the Bureau of Reclamation estimates. Considering that Shasta is filled 90% from rainfall, but that additional 10% from the snowpack draining down helps from having the lake drop quickly. This is the time of year when there is lot of debris on the water.
