Captain Rob is locked in on stripers right now. He is hitting prime water on the Delta and around Colusa, and he has a few select openings for those ready to get on the reel. These dates are expected to go quickly.
Dates Rob still has available as of this post: March 22nd, April 12th May 1st
Decades of Local Knowledge
Captain Rob started fishing as a young boy with his father and grandfather. He has spent over 25 years getting to know our local rivers and lakes inside and out. He went pro as a guide because he loves landing big fish just as much as his clients do. His mission is to share that real excitement with everyone, whether it is your first trip or you are already hooked.
The Redneck Hooker
To give his clients the best chance at a great day, Rob runs his trips from the "Redneck Hooker." This is a comfortable 21-foot Smoker Craft guide sled powered by a 200hp Yamaha jet outboard. The boat is fully loaded with top-tier electronics to ensure you are fishing with a professional edge.
Year-Round Opportunities
If you are keen for Kokanee salmon, Chinook salmon, white sturgeon, steelhead, or rainbow trout, Captain Rob fishes all over the region. His expertise covers prime spots including the Sacramento River, the Delta, Bullards Bar, and the Feather River. Ask him about current availability or getting on an early waitlist, because those slots disappear fast once the seasons open.
Beyond the gear and the boat, a day with Captain Rob is about the quality of the experience. Clients consistently walk away not just with a catch, but with a deeper appreciation for the water and the thrill of the hunt. Whether the bite is steady or you are chasing a personal best, Rob works tirelessly to ensure every person on the boat has a memorable and successful day on the river.
